On their new recording Habitat, themes of personal exploration are lamented through affected strings and just-settled rhythms over the course of four unique sonic endeavors. Following their debut All Histories, this new work further explores their process of creating songs that are born of live improvisation and codified into songwriting, placing the sound palette somewhere in the realm of Age of Adz-era Sufjan Stevens.
